Hong Kong , which comprises little more than 1,000 square kilometres (400 square miles) has a population of almost 7 million people. It is a dynamic city that blends both east and west, and is full of surprises.
Hong Kong has a subtropical climate with distinct seasons. From March to mid May is the spring season, with temperatures ranging from 18oC to 27oC and humidity about 82%. Rain showers are possible in May. Visitors from most countries can enter Hong Kong without a visa for periods of seven days to six months, depending on nationality.
Hong Kong has an excellent transportation system, so visitors can easily reach other areas, no matter where they stay. Hong Kong International Airport is one of the world’s best and most modern airports offering a comprehensive range of facilities and services to travelers. It is the main entry point to Hong Kong as well as the gateway to China. Getting to and from the Airport is easy. Rail, taxi and bus are available to connect the Airport with different parts of the city.
The standard electrical voltage in Hong Kong is 220 volts AC, 50 Hz. The electrical outlets in Hong Kong take a three-rectangular prong plug. For people bringing their notebooks, Wireless Broadband service is common at major shopping malls.
Hong Kong is one of the safest cities in the world even at night, when people may walk alone with confidence. English is widely spoken. There will be no problems in communicating with people in hotels and restaurants in English.

Hong Kong has its own currency, the Hong Kong dollar (HK$), which is
linked to the US dollar, and trades at around HK$7.8 to US$1.

Transportation Information
Take MTR (Railway) to East Tsim Sha
Tsui Station, then, take KCR (Railway) to Hung Hom Railway

walk across the footbridge to the University.
