General capability of Slope 2000 :

1. Any number of soil defined by any number of co-ordinates.

2. Any number of trapezoidal vertical and horizontal surcharge loads on or below ground surface.

3. Multiple perch water table and earthquake loads can also be used in the analysis.

4. Modelling of soil nails/geotextile can also be performed. The effective bond stress can be calculated automatically which greatly reduces the burden of the engineers.

5. No initial trial failure surface is required to de defined in the location of the critical failure surface.

All these features are available for 2D as well as 3D analysis.

For 2D analysis, the methods of analysis available are :

Bishop, Janbu's simplified and rigorous, Swedish, Fellenius, Sarma, wedge method, Corps of Engineers, Lowe Karafiath, GLE and Morgenstern and Price method (4 types of internal force functions. Spencer is available as a special case of Morgenstern-Price method by setting f(x)=1))

For 3D analysis, the methods of analysis available are :

Bishop, Janbu's simplified and rigorous method, Morgenstern and Price (4 interslice functions with Spencer as a special case), Sarma, Corps of Engineer and Lowe Karafiath methods.
